It’s like plucking a day out of your life six months or a year from now, when everything is going just great. Go ahead and dream of the day when your parents encourage you and your ideas; they listen to you and don’t ridicule you as not making sense. They are patient with you when you forget to do something and they believe you when you are telling the truth. There are no more arguments, they’ve made clear what they expect and you are all making upfront agreements now. You don’t get grounded anymore, as they realize you see the lesson and “get it" when you’ve done something you shouldn’t have.
Your letter might read something like this:
Go for the gold on this! Go ahead and dream about your ideal parents and write it down. Don’t worry about how any of these things are going to happen or what you should do to make them happen. You are doing all you need to do by writing specifically, positively, and consistently. Writing these letters to yourself and someone who wants all these things for you as much as you do, projects it to the universe. It’s waiting for you in your own future.
Don’t forget to include words such as easy, effortlessly, quickly and easily to your descriptions.
Write this letter in your own handwriting every day, preferably in the morning. Start your days pointed in the direction of your dreams!
If you’d like to know how to help your parents become ideal parents, suggest they read the book “How to Raise Teens and Have Fun at the Same Time" or try "Parent Like A CEO." These are books and guides that can be downloaded from our site.
