That’s where we come in

Many times, just realizing that you’ve done nothing wrong and discovering that it’s simply a lack of knowledge and training helps you to feel more confident as a parent.  No sense wasting your precious energy beating yourself up for what you didn’t know.

We help  you discover your own rhythm and style of parenting.  By helping you define your desired outcome for every situation, you’re making a plan based on what you want, and not what someone else says or thinks is right.

We help  you navigate upfront agreements amongst family members.  This successful technique has helped families avoid arguments, maintain self-esteem and promote self-motivation for years.

We help  you to keep your cool when a consequence goes into effect.  We show you how to ask your children to choose their consequences.  This allows you to remain calm and present, as you know exactly what’s going to happen if an agreement isn’t kept.

We help  you to maintain respectful communication at all times.  With our exercises and tips, you’ll see improvement the very first time you practice these easy tools.

We help   you with the “backlash” of teenage attitude.  This is when parents are glad they have someone to talk to after implementing a new strategy.  We help you see that this resistance is a sign of improvement.

You can get started with a complimentary ½ hour phone or Skype consultation.  Simply email me with the subject line “Consultation” and we’ll schedule your complimentary call.

We invite you  to discover the support available to you here. You’re invited to download the Communication Cheat Sheet and The Upfront Agreement Form.  These are just two of the powerful tools found in the Family Meeting Kit.  It’s easy to see why parents consider this step-by-step kit the ultimate guide to respectful communication.
